Reboot Tees Mission Statement

When the levees broke and New Orleans was devastated, I watched the events unfold
through the media and internet and text messages. The unimaginable became a
reality of epic proportions. I found myself on nola.com's forums exchanging grief,
anger, information, stories... and after a few weeks of wallowing in this
imploded behavior, I decided to launch this website and raise money for the artists
and musicians of New Orleans affected by the malfeasant failure of the levee system.
These artists and musicians need us more than ever. And New Orleans needs them more
than ever as well. The Crescent City must rebuild its unique culture in order for it
to survive.
So check out the T-shirt. Buy one. Buy one for your friends. And help spread the word.
The mission is to sell as many T-shirts as possible and help reboot New Orleans.
All profits go to the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund. More charities
will be added in the near future.

“How many of those people have been to New Orleans?” said Alec Phoenix,
a New Orleans resident who is currently in Los Angeles.
“To say the city should be abandoned because it’s below sea level is an irresponsible
statement.”
